Somehow it doesn't seem too surprising to link Seth, especially considering that Chronos was hitching a ride on him or some shit like that. That flub in the middle almost seems vaguely important, but he isn't really going to look into something that minor.
"Hm, sounds about right... I'm asking because I've seen some of their puppets in my dreams and you seem vaguely like one of them, backwards everything and all."
Theta is very afraid right now.
He did not prepare for this. He has no fucking idea what's even happening, but he doesn't like it one bit.
Theta goes up to her to attempt the standard undontiering method (standard for the clocktower, probably not at all standard outside of it).
"Medi! Get the fuck up already! ...This isn't funny! Please!" He yells at her soul from as close as he can get without hitting the red stain.

He can't help but wonder. They probably weren't one of his acquaintances...But he had to make sure.
Meanwhile, he thinks about where that traitorous coward could be...
Theta could probably hear her voice saying one word over and over.
"Why...?"
In closer inspection, the red blotch that seemed to grow in an alarming rate seem to be...
Poppies?

Link Seth thinks for a moment, and then pulls out a pencil and paper from who-knows-where and draws the puppet from one of his dreams.  "There it is. The strings were visible about half of the time."
If Theta wasn't panicking before, he is now. Why did that link Seth have to leave him alone here? He quickly backpedals away from the encroaching floral bloodstain, holding up his pathetic looking plastic scythe for safety. |

"I don't know, but they sure as fuck seemed to have something against me." At that point, Link Seth begins to remember some things that he had found out from some online acquaintances that had matched up.
Things involving eggs. Things involving the plans of the horrorterrors. Things involving Chrono's plans, which had succeeded in his timeline.
"Wait... what if, what if Ananke wasn't addressing me... but was actually addressing him? Do you think the horrorterrors knew that Chronos was... oh shit, what am I kidding, they likely knew everything..."
It seems like a lot of puzzle pieces on the table, but slowly they seem to be coming together.
Theta, still partially petrified with fear, takes a few minutes to finally even think of stepping even once upon the carpet of poppies on the floor. He is still gripping his plastic scythe quite desperately. Then again, what does he even have to fear? He's already dead after all.
It doesn't make this any less scary however.

Eniar frowns. The possibility that the horrorterrors would know absolutely everything...That's at least a bit unlikely, wouldn't it?
After all, there was no way they would have predicted that strange phenomena that caused a massacre of a lot of their kind. But then, that was something large enough to shake reality itself.
It's probably more likely that they would still know about their plan back then...

At this point I hope Chronos finds a way to get to the furthest ring and fuck them up, as much as I'm still angry at him for taking my body and driving Raine to suicide. He'll probably get wrecked out there..." Link seth smirks darkly as he thinks about how his worst enemies would tear eachother apart.
Theta's stress levels seem to have lessened marginally. He slowly takes another step onto the carpet of poppies. And then another. He steps slowly and cautiously towards Medi, plastic scythe blade pointed backwards for defense.

"...There's others of me, besides that Theta loser?" Link Seth has the vaguest feeling that there's a lot that he just does not know. "I don't even know where the fuck this place is. Your guess is as good as mine. The elevator looks like it should be pretty easy to figure out. Hit which floor you're getting off on and pull the lever." He takes a moment to look around. "Fuck, what should I even do now that I'm dead? What are those others even doing to get themselves in danger?"
Theta continues cautiously making his way towards Medi.
"...Medi? Are you, going to be okay?"
He notices the drop in temperature.
This is not a good sign.

Also, I can't say I've seen any void players since I got here. Then again they can be invisible pieces of shit sometimes..." link seth thinks for a moment and then pulls out a magnifying glass. "You could use this better than me. It should allow you to see invisible or hard to see things. You might be able to find that turncoat voider." He hands it over to Eniar.

Eniar takes the magnifying glass and inspects it, eventually putting it away.
"...Thank you. I may have probably lost him by now, but this will certainly be useful if there is that chance of spotting him again."
He looks back to the elevator.
"I should probably head back...If i can."

"Oh great, more of this template bullshit. I haven't been free from template discourse since I killed the second boss of the game and got stuck with ...Rob." link seth braces for the pain. It takes a moment, but a couple shards of broken glass go flying out of him.
"OHFUCKTHATHURTS." Seth holds the spot on his chest where the glass shot out. As expected, he has no pulse. It still hurts though.
After a moment, he picks up one of the shards of glass. It appears to have a curve to it.
"what the fuck? Is this why it hurts every time I mention that fuckface's name? You'd think this would have ended after I died."
While looking through the magnifying glass, link seth is not wearing a red tunic, but instead heir of time god tier pajamas. His horns are also abscent in this view.
"link" seth looks over at Eniar upon hearing that last comment.
"you're going back up there? I think I'll try to go up with you. If the others like me are really up there fighting for something that important, there's no fucking way I want to miss out on that. Being here alone sucks anyways."
Theta shivers from the chilling atmosphere in the area. He is incredibly terrified right now.
No words can be found.
No strength to walk forwards.
All Theta can do is stand there with his scythe, locked down by fear.

Theta flinches as she finally moves, stepping back slightly.
He listens to her request.
She wants to see him.
The monster that ruined her life.
She wants to see Chronos.
The one available might not be the same exact version, but it's the best option. Maybe she'll be able to rest after her request is fulfilled.
Theta loosens the grip on his plastic scythe and slowly puts it away.
"...I'll take you there." There's a slight nervous crack in his voice.
He offers his hand towards her.
"follow me."
