It's an ordinary crown made of roses.
There aren't any thorns, so someone took the effort to snip them all off.
Either that or they're fake. They feel real, though.

Honestly, it's more of a staff than a mace...
The rounded end is flat and the weird little nubs makes it look like someone filed down the corner parts of a gear.
She heads straight towards the weird glowing in the distance. It's practically a beacon or something.
It's probably best to go there rather than fumble around in the darkness some more.
...
It takes a while for her to get to what seems to be the source of the glowing.
...A really weird looking puddle.
Instead of a black liquid, it's a nice clear color.
It's not even looking like what water usually looks like.
It's a bright blue, almost like the color of the sky during a sunny day.
...She feels the urge to jump straight into it.
Should she?
