Meanwhile, Thoren appears once more from the door portal and into the jungle to search for Medi. It's difficult for him to focus while being flooded with her stronger than usual stream of pain and sadness however. He's trying his hardest to make sure none of the other network members have to feel this way, and it seems to be working, but it's so hard to handle on his own. Regardless, he needs to find her.
Many many debatable hours later... Show DialoglogThoren searches the forest with Isaac until finally trying to contact Medi once more. It does not go as well as desired. Charles, the (probably false but still powerful) Lord of Blood, takes it upon himself to disable Thoren's connection to Medi, to avoid any further negative feedback sent to him. Eventually though, Thoren's company absconds and leaves him there. Probably not the nicest move, but then again it's hard to tell if anyone would even be strong enough to carry him and all his weight. |

Except for the fact, you know, there is a nice, warm, comfortable cabin no more than 30 feet away.

Despite the nice warm cozy cabin being 30 feet away, Thoren is far too emotionally exhausted to get back up on his own.
June 1st, 2017... apparentlyShow DialoglogIsaac finally awakens Thoren from an extended donetier and they connect for a short while, as Isaac pulls off a searching technique which nearly drains him, since those in the area barely knew how to help him. He did wind up finding a place, and the network was used to spread this information (how exactly Isaac managed to become connected despite lacking a soul is questionable, but somehow it worked at least temporarily). With that, Samm managed to create a mind-y waypoint for Thoren to follow. Considering he did not re-enable his connection to seth (out of consideration for Isaac's concerns about fatal "time cooties"), it's unknown how long this will take. Likely until tuesday. His other available connections are un-disabled, though his connection to medi is still locked thanks to FLord's intervention. For now though, Thoren is determined to find and rescue Medi. Will he make it it her in time however? He doesn't have the time to doubt himself. He has to try.
June 2nd, 2017Show MemologMeanwhile, Rid launches off towards the Black Bubble as well. He soon finds that the Mind Line leads straight there and follows it, soon catching up with Thoren. "Hey, what the fuck are you doing here?""I'm going to save Medi."
"Heh, so I guess we're on the same mission. I assume you know of the nature of her captor?"
"Yeah, some shitty soul eating bastard."Rid nods and gives a thumbs-up. The two seths continue following the line, onwards towards the Black Bubble. |

Rudolph and Schrodinger stand and wait outside of the Eros Machina. To them, barely even a couple minutes has passed since Raine and her numerous helping hands barreled out of it to go after Thoren. Suddenly however, a notification goes off on Rudolph's laptop. He checks it and is surprised. Thanatos, finally contacting them... so that they can move Chronos to a different location? This seems fishy. But, if it's that important, he probably should. He still wonders why he would need to move a timespace doubletier out of an area of timespace weirdness anyways. Schrodinger notices Rudolph walking back towards the party. "Hey, where are you going?" "Thanatos' got orders for me. you wouldn't be interested in them, just standard Blue Hole guardian duties." "You're still putting up with that crap? I thought you were past that." "Hey, I wanna make up for my royal fuck-up a while back that landed me out of a job, of course I'm putting up with it." Rudolph keeps walking. Schrodinger lets him go, he doesn't wanna involve himself in anything more involving the Blue Hole, especially considering that it killed him. So instead, he climbs into the Eros Machina and starts looking around at all the switches and buttons and whatnot. Maybe this cool as all fuck Big Rig has some cool features to it. Meanwhile, Rudolph goes alone, back towards the party. He continues on the path, for what almost seems like days to him, but soon enough he reaches his destination. Show DialoglogFrom the party area, a breeze can be felt, muffling the desperate laughs of a timespace demon. Soon enough however, the winds die down, and the scene continues as usual. Some of the other seths hear the commotion, but they're far too busy celebrating their freedom from the darkness. |

Meanwhile, Thoren slashes a rift to the site of the Eros Machina. Schrodinger has been rocking out to baby metal while waiting for the others.
Thoren steps into the truck.
"Turn that shit off, we can't have that playing with members of the living around!"
Shrodinger freaks out and ejects the babymetal cd, making it fling across the cabin like an errent AOL disk.
"Th-thoren! I didn't expect you here! Where's your armor? where's your girl?"
"that's not important right now. we need to do a shake-down on this. stay where you are."
With that, Thoren leaps into the seat and possesses the eros machina! His voice can be heard from the speakers.
"Let's run diagnostics on this bitch!"
A couple minutes pass and a loading bar progresses.
"All systems go! run nanorepair.exe!"
A thin shimmer of nanites appear out of a compartment of the eros machina and begin repairing it to initial conditions.
"holy shit, you've got this dialed down..."
Soon enough, the Eros Machina is good as new once more.
"say, shrodey, you ever been to space?"
"once or twice in my life, why?"
"well, I'm taking this bitch to space tonight! Open the fake-ass wormhole to the virtuous victorian!"
With that, a wormhole is made, leading out to space, the VV clearly in view. Thoren starts the engine and begins driving towards it...
And with that, they are gone, and the wormhole closes behind them.
